Always Be Comedy: Chelsea

Our nights at The Tommyfield, Kennington have been a multi-award-winning hit for 15 years. And we'll keep putting on shows across five (often six!) nights a week there (with tickets for all shows available here).

And now we've expanded with a weekly Thursday comedy night in Chelsea! You'll find Always Be Comedy: Chelsea at The Trafalgar on the iconic King's Road (SW3 5UA). We've already had the likes of Kevin Bridges, Sara Pascoe, Harry Hill, Tom Allen, Brett Goldstein, Joel Dommett, Sophie Duker, Celya AB, Ivo Graham, Iain Stirling and many more. Please see upcoming shows below...

Thursday 10 September

Tom Davis & Joe Kent Walters as Frankie Monroe & Blank Peng

Closing the show is the hilarious Tom Davis (King Gary, The Curse, Wolf and Owl podcast), bringing his signature big-man energy and unstoppable charm to the stage. Joining him is the phenomenal Joe Kent-Walters performing as his multi-award-winning, darkly chaotic, club-singer creation Frankie Monroe—a masterclass in character comedy. Plus the great Blank Peng, one of the most exciting new voices on the UK circuit.

Thursday 17 September

Jordan Brookes & Michelle de Swarte & Horatio Gould

Enjoy the genius of Edinburgh Comedy Award-winner Jordan Brookes, the effortlessly cool and fiercely funny Michelle de Swarte (The Baby, The Duchess) and completing this incredible bill is the great Horatio Gould.

This show is the first of four nights as part of Chelsea Arts Festival (17-20 September)

Tom Davis - Spudgun - tour run-through

Before he hits the road again to play, frankly, much bigger venues across the country, Tom is dropping into Chelsea to run through his smash-hit show, Spudgun. This is your rare chance to see a comedy heavyweight up close and personal in an intimate room.

This show is the second of four nights as part of Chelsea Arts Festival (17-20 September)

Saturday 19 September

George Lewis solo show (some old, some new)

The great George Lewis returns with a new hybrid hour, if you will: half the sharp, much-loved favourites that made his name, half fresher stuff, fresher jokes (and fresher panic!). What a lovely way for George to realise just how far he's come. And, if any newer bits don't land, how far he still has to go. Ah, comedy - the great leveller!

This show is the third of four nights as part of Chelsea Arts Festival (17-20 September)

Sunday 20 September

Sarah Keyworth - work in progress

It's a work in progress, people. Some bits will be great (it's Sarah Keyworth!). Some bits may never be said out loud ever again. Look, it's best to be honest - it's what work in progress shows are for! What's more - it's just a tenner.

This show is the fourth of four nights as part of Chelsea Arts Festival (17-20 September)
